Good beats to keep the motivation flowing

Bottom line in case you don’t want to read this whole thing:

Timothy Allan produces some awesome instrumental beats to keep your juices flowing throughout the day.

music.download.com used to be a great place to go try out new music from budding artists. I loved going there to download sample tracks to burn to CD and later to load up on my iPod. Over time, more and more musicians stopped providing downloads and only allowed online streaming of their work.

Alas, eventually that site became iLike.com. There are some cool things about the site, but it just doesn’t fit in to my lifestyle — no more than Pandora or other streaming sites fit in. I have to get music on to my iPod in order to enjoy it. It would be really cool if you could “check out” tracks into iTunes for like 14 days or something, like checking out an electronic resource through Media Mall.

Anyway, Timothy Allan had some downloadables on the old music.download.com. They’ve been on my iPod for some time now, and just the other day it occurred to me he may have more work I could enjoy. Sure enough, I found new stuff in the Apple iTunes store, bought it all, and am quite pleased.

I truly wish sites such as iLike fit in to my lifestyle, but so far I just can’t make the stretch. Downloads. I need downloads, then I’ll buy later if I like your work. Streaming is too limiting for me.

Setting the stage for the year 2010

I’m bound and determined to go in to 2010 with a positively life-changing attitude.

The six month plan

The six month plan started in December, so now I have about five months to go. I’m still making preparations in the basement, and researching possibilities like crazy. This has led to many unexpected yet welcome discoveries. My mettle has wavered a bit, but with five months to go, I haven’t chickened out yet.

Domain name madness

During my research, I have checked for and registered numerous domain names with good intentions. Some may never do anything. I now have at my disposal the following:

  1. goodlearning.com
  2. goodstand.com
  3. freakingid.com
  4. kittycatdiamond.com
  5. kidkaiser.com
  6. fourchapters.com
  7. wordpresscity.com
  8. cusnews.com
  9. cuslife.com
  10. froghelper.com
  11. pondhelper.com
  12. gwenart.com
  13. gwenkaiser.com
  14. helptheman.com
  15. paulswebshack.com
  16. paulekaiser.com (this site)

Positively beautiful

I’m not sure what else to say in this post, so I’m finishing off by saying the year 2010, and every year thereafter, is going to be positively beautiful. I have put up a good fight for someone living in a fog for 38 years or so, but in 2010 the fog is lifting (I’m lifting it) and it’s a whole new, positive, beautiful world.
